Welcome to Gulf Shores Plantation, the ideal complex for an unforgettable family vacation! As you enter the property, you'll find a guard shack where you can obtain parking passes and any necessary information about the complex. This gated resort community offers a wide range of amenities, including tennis courts, volleyball, a putting green, basketball courts, shuffleboard, outdoor swimming pools, several grill areas, and the delightful Sassy Bass restaurant for dining. You'll appreciate the private, sugar-white beaches, natural sand dunes, and beautifully landscaped surroundings. The complex offers activities suitable for all ages, making it a perfect choice for family getaways. Plus, the renowned Kiva Dunes Golf Club and its fantastic restaurant are located just a short walk away. In addition, you're only a 15-minute drive from the numerous attractions that Gulf Shores has to offer. Please note that boats are not allowed on the property. Inside the condo, you'll discover a comfortable and well-decorated living space with a fully equipped kitchen featuring all the necessary appliances, pots and pans, silverware, cups/glasses, and plates to prepare meals with family and friends. The living area is equipped with a flat-screen TV with cable and a DVD player and balcony access with a side view of the beach. The master bedroom offers a queen bed, a private bath, and a flat-screen TV. The second bedroom features a king bed and a flat-screen TV. The dining table comfortably seats six, and there are on-site laundry facilities for added convenience. The owner is open to long-term rentals or snowbirds starting on August 1. For the Winter Season (January and February), reservations made prior to October 1st require a minimum stay of 60 days (two months). Reservations that don't meet this criteria may be subject to cancellation by management. After October 1st, reservations can be made for the winter months with a minimum stay of three or seven nights, depending on unit specifications. Professionally Managed by Poole and Associates. Additional Information: Parking passes must be purchased via a link sent two days before your arrival to secure parking. Linens are provided; please remember to bring your own beach towels. The reservation includes a "starter set" of hand soap, one roll of toilet tissue per bathroom, one trash bag per trash can, and one roll of paper towels. Policies: Guests must be at least 25 years of age or older to rent. Photo ID is required at check-in. Smoking is not allowed. Pets are not allowed. If you are wanting to spend time on the beach, this resort is perfectly fine. However, the room itself made me miss the comforts of home. There are some pros and cons to consider: Pros: private, less crowded access to the beach, fairly close walk to the beach, 21+ pool, outdoor grills close to the buildings, onsite ice machine, and elevator Cons: stained bedding making it look dirty, dirt stains and layered dust on the walls and baseboards in multiple places, broken hot tub Grocery stores are a bit of a drive so grab food before heading in. The local restaurants were overpriced and not very good, so plan to cook and eat in room. I had to walk around a bit to figure out where the room was located as there were no markings on the outside of the building. Airbnb app messaging was not responsive, I had to call for answers to a couple of questions. Overall, I would probably stay at this resort again, but I would look for a more updated room.

We enjoyed our stay and the location. The only issue we had was the unit could have been cleaner. We found a nose ring left on the counter from someone who previously stayed in the unit, and the comforter and sheets had stains on them. The bathroom also had a used bar of soap left lying in the floor. We loved the area and the amenities. If the cleaning issues were fixed it would be a great place to stay for the price.
