"Welcome to Ocean House 1701 in the heart of Gulf Shores on West Beach Blvd. This large 3 bedroom, 3 bath unit is the ideal spot for a family vacation. Notably, it features two master suites, both with balcony access. The king master suite with lagoon views and an attached bath and the gulf front master suite with balcony views and a Jack and Jill bath provide exceptional comfort and convenience. The third bedroom has two twin beds with an attached bath, ensuring a relaxing retreat for the whole family. The complex offers a heated pool, adding to the amenities for guests' enjoyment. For Winter Season reservations (January and February), bookings made before October 1st require a 60-day minimum stay. Reservations made after October 1st vary between three or seven nights based on unit specifications. Parking passes, obtained onsite, are valid for 7 days. If the reservation extends beyond 7 days, an additional parking pass is required to be purchased onsite (maximum of 2). Linens are provided, though guests are encouraged to bring their own beach towels. The reservation includes a 'starter set' of essential items. Professionally managed by Poole and Associates, the property policies specify a minimum rental age of 25, require a photo ID at check-in, and enforce a no smoking and Not Pet Friendly. For monthly 'Snowbird' rates available from November through February, please inquire via phone." Great value. Can’t beat the location, and 3 full baths were nice. Bring trash bags and tp if you’re staying more than a few days. Listing says hot tub, but there is not one. They said they are updating that. We will stay again.

31% for taxes is unbelievable, but I had to change places last minute as our party outgrew the place I had booked originally, and options were limited. The listing clearly says self check-in via keypad, but I had to check in offsite and obtain a physical key (and also provide a credit card to "have on file"), which then had to be returned offsite. The offsite office kept texting me about checking in between 3pm and 5pm, which was a bit stressful with an almost 6-hour drive to get there. I'm not sure what the process would've been after 5pm since before wasn't particularly convenient. We had team events for my son before we arrived at the condo fairly late to discover that parking costs $40 per vehicle, and they only accept cash despite the listing clearly stating "free parking on premises". The condo was fine. There were a few small things in disrepair, but nothing major. The balcony and location on the beach were the major perks. Listing also still includes hot tub--there's not one!

For clarification, key pickup is available anytime after 3:00 PM at our office. Our office closes at 5:00 PM; however, for guests arriving after hours, check-in packets are placed in a secure file box outside of our office for convenient pickup. We’re also very sorry for the confusion regarding parking fees, payment method, and the discrepancy in the listing details. This is not the experience we want for our guests, and your comments will be reviewed carefully to ensure the listing information is accurate and expectations are set properly moving forward. We appreciate your feedback regarding the condition of the unit as well and will share it with our team for follow-up.
