Brushed stone walkways, laced with gardens and yard art, make for a truly picturesque setting. Inside, this delightfully charming and comfortable cottage has a large open kitchen, a cozy living room with a fireplace for those chilly evenings and a separate dining area. The covered porch sits right on the water’s edge and offers comfortable seating. There are three small bedrooms, one queen, one full, and the third bedroom has two twins. There is one 3/4 bath with a shower.
Just off Blue Hill’s Parker Point Road on Mackay Lane, the village is 1/2 mile in one direction and the Country Club is 1/8th of a mile in the other direction. Depending on tide, there is a small swimming cove. A rowing dinghy and 2 kayaks are available to guests upon signing a waiver. A bench at the end of a nearby point offers a fine place for meditation, peace and quiet. The Bungalow and Bungalhigh can be rented together to accommodate parties of six, and the homeowners are available to assist where needed, but they will value your privacy if you so desire. A private deep-water mooring can be arranged with advance notice.
