However, if you are looking for a modern new stay, this is not the place for you. Monteflores is next to a lower end neighborhood that to some may seem too downtrodden and to others a piece of Puerto Rican color. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Neighborhood info Monteflores is close to beaches and all great and fun neighborhoods. This neighborhood is local and not surrounded by commerce. It is ideal to have a car as Ubers can be a challenge at times. If you are looking for a hotel area, this is not a hotel but a local experience. During your stay be sure to visit the Port of San Juan and Pan American Pier. Looking for a casino? Casino del Mar at La Concha Resort is a 10 minute drive.
