Glacier Suite at Snowberry is your perfect 3 bedroom townhome for families or three couples looking for a fabulous home base in winter (ski right to the door when the snow allows!) or summer (right next to Lost Lake bike trails!). Located in the Benchlands, the home is split over two floors, and features spacious bright rooms flooded with natural light, a large kitchen and living area, and a loft that's a fantastic kids playroom or workspace. Spend loads of time at home or use it as a convenient home base after the day's adventures, the choice is yours! When you're not out enjoying Whistler's mountains, relax by the real wood fireplace or sit on the spacious balcony with a tasty glass of BC wine. No need to eat out every meal - cook your own gourmet meals in the fully-equipped kitchen with new appliances. You can also rest easy knowing your valuable mountain bikes can be stored in a private and secure storage locker within the complex. Please note, although this home does not provide air conditioning, it does offer plenty of airflow and fans to stay cool. ROOMS: - Room 1: Primary bedroom 1 (downstairs), Queen bed, ensuite bathroom, ample storage space. - Room 2: Primary bedroom 2 (upstairs), King bed, Juliet balcony, forest view - Room 3: Loft: bunk bed with Twin over Double, dresser with TV (perfect for kids), which converts into a work desk. LOCATION: The Snowberry complex in the Benchlands is a lovely, quiet area that offers tranquility and proximity to Blackcomb mountain, the Fairmont Golf Course and Lost Lake Park. When the snow is plentiful in the valley, the side trails allow skiers to make it home without a walk and it's only a 5-10 min walk to the ski run in the morning or you can hop on the free shuttle. Enjoy the Upper Village's shops, pubs and restaurants, including a grocery and liquor store, only a 10 minute walk away down a pleasant wooded trail. In the summer, bike trails to Lost Lake Park, and weekly Farmers Market are right on your doorstep. If you're looking to visit the main village, the free shuttle bus stops a 3 minute walk from the complex. ACCESSIBILITY: Please note the home is on the second level up a flight of stairs, with no access to an elevator. PARKING: One assigned undercover parking stall (height and size restrictions may apply - the parking garage clearance is 6'10") and first come first served visitor parking - one visitor pass provided.
