Motel 6's have hot showers, hair dryers, and coffee. The rental at 606 New Haven did not. Most Airbnbs have laundry detergent, hot pad holders, and filled soap dispensers: 606 New Haven did not. Neither were there basic condiments, and the batteries in the TV's remote control were corroded. Games and puzzles were broken and disorganized. One of two broken corners of a glass dining table was covered by a literal Band-Aid.
Damage around the patio door revealed an apparent leak, giving the whole condo a musty odor. That smell is not uncommon by the beach, though; neither are rusty medicine cabinets like the ones here.
Complaints registered 3/3 and no response as of 3/15.
The beds were comfortable and we appreciated the provided space heater. Also, the shelling at low tide was fantastic.
Note: If you're staying for just one night and not getting a golf cart, the only place to park your car for other round-the-clock beach access is near the tennis courts (other guests advised).

We would like to thank you for having given us your open and honest review of the property. I do apologize that you felt as though the property gave a Motel 6's feel. However, none of the issues were reported to Guest Services, where if reported these issues could have been resolved in a timely manner or resulting in you being moved to another property. You did book an area that does not offer 24/7 beach access, but the beach can be accessed in other areas throughout the island. . We are willing to offer you a 10% discount for the issues that you had during your stay and hope that these issues will not deter you from allowing us to host you again in the near future .
Unfortunately, no properties or owners are the same. The properties are provided with the initial set up toiletries, such as paper towels, toilet tissue, dishwasher soap, dish soap, hand soap and shampoo. If what is provided is not enough, you have the option of calling Guest Services for additional supplies. Properties are not provided with laundry, soap or condiments; however, some guest will buy these items and leave behind for other guests to use. Please let me know if you have any questions.
